Helping
your Baby
As
with treating children of older ages, the
care for infants that Dr. Hallawell provides is extremely gentle and
non-invasive. Simple pressure with fingertips along the spine is enough
to address structural needs of babies.
Kinesiology
(muscle testing) techniques such as TBM are very
effective with infants. Dr.
Hallawell has the infant's parent or caregiver hold the child, while the
muscle testing is done on the adult. This is called "indirect
testing" and is based on simple principles. When we touch another
person we transmit electrical energy just like wires touching each
other. You may be aware that if you were to touch an electric wire while
touching someone else, that the electricity would flow into them.
Using the same principle, it is possible to test and treat an
infant by muscle testing the adult holding the child.
Infants usually respond very quickly to care.
