What to expect from your visits to
our office
YOUR FIRST VISIT:
Consultation, Patient History, Examination & Pain Relief Care
Dr. Hallawell puts all of his efforts into understanding your case and
deciding on a treatment plan that is most likely to help you. Treatments
are specifically designed and well thought-out for each patient's case
in order to be the most effective. For this reason, your treatment will
most likely begin on your second visit. You may receive pain
relief care on your first visit.
YOUR SECOND VISIT:
Report of Findings, Recommendations, and
Treatment
On your second visit, after the doctor has had a chance to study your
case and explore treatment possibilities. He will discuss with you
what may be needed to help you, the estimated amount of time this may
take, and a general estimation of costs. This time is meant for both
doctor and patient to address any questions or issues that may be
important to the patient's case. If you and the doctor decide that you
have a good chance of getting well by working together, treatments can
begin.
FEE SCHEDULE:

determine your insurance coverage.
Dr. Hallawell uses a variety of techniques in order to help as many
people as possible. Several of these techniques are time consuming
and therefore not covered by office-billed insurance. However, an
insurance-approved charge slip can be provided to you for therapies not
covered by your insurance so you can send it to your insurance company
and bill them directly. We accept cash, local checks, Visa and
MasterCard.
The average New Patient Visit (including consultation, exam and
pain relief care): $80 with day of origination discounts
that may vary from $40 to $90 depending on complexity of case
and time spent.
X-rays and laboratory are occasionally needed, and are done at nearby
locations by other providers.
Returning/Existing Patient treatments are calculated in unites of
time as follows:
10 min unit for chiropractic adjustment visit are $40
for adults and $25 for children; 20 min unit kinesiology visit are $60
for adults and $35 for children.
Active Military and Dependents treatments are calculated in unites of
time as follows:
10 min unit for chiropractic adjustment visit are $30
for adults.
During the course of treatment, more than one unit may be necessary to
address your problem in the most efficient and helpful way possible. In
those situations, you and the doctor will agree to schedule for the
necessary number of units of time, and you will be charged according to
the schedule above. These figures reflect the day of origination
discount available to all patients.
